以前は登戸園は1〜３歳児クラスのみだったんですが、現在ではちびっこハウスは多摩川園（1〜３歳児）と登戸園（４〜５歳児）のような感じになっています。
登戸園はビル１Fの大きな１フロアを使っていて、一見すると結構狭いようにも見えるんですが、意外と奥行きがあります。
園の雰囲気はとてもアットホームな感じで、認可保育園よりも色々と融通は効きやすいです。また子供を預けるときに親の靴を脱がずに玄関でカバン・オムツなどをしまえるのも結構便利でした。車での送迎もOKです。
園庭はないので、基本的に毎日晴れた日にはお散歩にいき、結構遠い公園まで歩いていく感じです。年一回の運動会などは多摩川園と合同なので、結構な人数になります。場所は宿河原小学校で実施していました。
特に大きな不満はなかったですが、やはり少々手狭＆設備が古い＆人数が少ないので、そこらへんで星マイナス１という感じです。
